The purpose of the National Poultry Council - Chamber of Commerce is, among other things, the further development and modernisation of Polish poultry farming, protection of the interests of poultry breeders and producers and poultry meat processors, their integration, and representation of the domestic poultry sector before state authorities.
KRD-IG members account for approximately 70% of live poultry production and around 80% of domestic poultry meat slaughter and processing.
Supply in the poultry industry is often higher than demand, and spontaneous growth in demand is unlikely.
Expanding the market requires a shared strategy for promoting poultry as food and protecting the image of the entire industry.
We must persuade domestic and foreign consumers to increase their consumption of poultry.

Since 2005, KRD-IG has represented the Polish poultry sector in AVEC, which represents the interests of the European poultry industry and develops common solutions for the EU poultry market.

An industry organisation operating since 1958 and representing the interests of the European meat-processing industry in dialogue with EU institutions.
IPC
An international organisation representing the global poultry sector. IPC covers more than 75% of global poultry meat production and 90% of global trade.
WPSA
A global scientific organisation developing poultry knowledge and connecting researchers, educators and industry practitioners since 1912.
ELPHA
A European association representing the entire live poultry and hatching egg production chain in the EU and supporting competitive, sustainable production.
FGŻ
The Federation of Food Economy of the Republic of Poland, based in Warsaw and cooperating with KRD-IG since 2008.
